Keeping families together is at the heart of our practice. For 28 years we have helped United States citizens and permanent residents bring their loved ones here — spouses, parents, children, and siblings — through family-based petitions.

The Petition: Form I-130

Most family cases begin with Form I-130, Petition for Alien Relative, which establishes the qualifying family relationship. United States citizens may petition for spouses, parents, children (married or unmarried), and siblings; lawful permanent residents may petition for spouses and unmarried children.

After Approval: The Road to the Green Card

An approved petition is the first step, not the last. Depending on the category and the beneficiary’s location, the case continues through adjustment of status in the United States or consular processing abroad — including the National Visa Center stage, the visa interview, and, for marriages less than two years old, conditional residence and the later Form I-751 petition to remove conditions.

Why Families Hire Us

Family cases look simple until they are not: prior immigration violations, unlawful presence bars, missing documents, and long backlogs can turn a straightforward petition into a multi-year problem. We identify these issues up front and plan around them.
